Research
Our laboratory studies the cellular microbiology of Chlamydia trachomatis, an obligate intracellular bacterial pathogen responsible for ocular and urogenital infections. We apply functional genomic, cell biological and biochemical approaches to identify and characterize bacterial factors that modulate host cellular functions.
