The massive Garibaldi glacier dwarfs travelers aboard an inflatable boat who have come to explore this region of Chilean Patagonia in the Alberto de Agostini National Park, where the Andes, the world’s longest continental mountain chain, meets the ocean. The Pew Charitable Trusts has partnered with Chilean nongovernmental organizations, universities, and governmental agencies to help preserve Patagonia’s remarkable natural resources.
