Ruth Lindberg
PROFILE
Ruth Lindberg directs Pew’s public health data improvement project, which conducts research, provides technical assistance, and advocates for policies, resources, and practices to enable the rapid and effective use of health care data to advance Americans’ well-being. She previously directed the Health Impact Project, a collaboration of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Pew, which worked to include health considerations in policy decisions across multiple sectors, such as housing, transportation, and education.
Before joining Pew, Lindberg worked as a program manager for the National Center for Healthy Housing and as the outreach and education coordinator for childhood lead poisoning prevention initiatives at the Rhode Island Department of Health.
Lindberg holds a bachelor’s degree in community health from Brown University and master’s degrees in urban planning and public health from the University of Washington.
