Teens today, part of Generation Z, have been raised with a digital connection to society. Thanks to social media, about eight-in-ten say they feel more connected to friends, and about seven-in-ten say these platforms help them interact with a more diverse group of people. But teens also acknowledge the negative aspects of constantly being connected. In this video, the Pew Research Center's Monica Anderson explains how these digitally native Americans are navigating growing up in the social media age.
