Renewable energy is now powering 50,000 homes in Michigan's Gratiot County, thanks to a new 133-turbine wind farm.

The Gratiot County Wind Project with Detroit Edison Energy is just one example of job creation through investment in the supply side of the clean energy economy. The soon-to-expire production tax credit for wind played a vital role in making the project competitive, according to business leaders at Wind Resource LLC.
