Research
Intracellular signal transduction pathways regulating gene expression impact diverse cell functions such as normal cell growth, differentiation, and immune responses to pathogens. Disruptions of these pathways occur in many diseases, from impaired immunity to cancer. We are particularly interested in signaling utilizing JAK-STAT pathways and study their molecular mechanisms using biochemical, cell biological, genetic, and genomic approaches in vitro and in genetically modified mice.
