Keith Lawrence
PROFILE
Keith Lawrence leads a team of Pew experts on conservation finance, climate mitigation and adaptation, and economic approaches to conservation. Lawrence also provides guidance to several Pew projects, such as preventing ocean plastics and protecting coastal wetlands and coral reefs.
Before joining Pew, Lawrence served as senior director at Conservation International, where he led several projects within its Center for Oceans, including the Seascapes program. He was also principal environmental economist at the Jacobs Engineering Group.
Lawrence holds a bachelor’s degree in natural sciences from Durham University and a master’s degree in environmental economics from the University of York.
