PROFILE

Nate Fedrizzi is the science and technical lead for the Pew marine fellows program and oversees outreach to stakeholders and the public. He previously spearheaded the marine fellows’ country-focused initiatives in East and Southeast Asia.

Before joining Pew, Fedrizzi developed a pilot environmental DNA monitoring program for invasive aquatic species at The Nature Conservancy and coordinated the production of a science education web series at the Smithsonian Science Education Center. He has experience working in marine research, science education, and science media.

Fedrizzi holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hamilton College, where he was a William M. Bristol fellow, and a master’s in conservation biology from Columbia University.
