Sarah Baulch
PROFILE
Sarah Baulch leads the technical team with Pew’s preventing ocean plastics project, focusing on helping to develop strategies to reduce the threat to marine life, coastlines, and local communities from global plastic pollution.
Before joining Pew, Baulch was a senior campaigner for the Environmental Investigation Agency, where she worked to secure new policies on marine plastic pollution and managed campaigns on other ocean conservation issues. She has also worked in the environmental consultancy sector undertaking ecological surveys and mitigation projects.
Baulch holds a bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of Bristol and a research master's in ecology and environmental management from the University of York.
