In February, the Western Australian government took a major step toward creating the Great Kimberley Marine park by creating an 80 mile Beach Marine Park along the famous Kimberly Coastline.
This Northwest Australian Outback coastline is home to the world's largest humpback whale nursery. If the government declares three additional marine parks, they can link the parks together and protect 500 kilometers of rugged, unspoiled coastline, and unique marine life from mining.
This video was published before the 80 Mile Beach was protected, but there is still more work to be done. Tell Australian leaders that a Great Kimberley Marine Park is needed now.
