On July 24, 2014, The Pew Charitable Trusts gave a presentation to the Nebraska Legislature, detailing topics and questions that the state could consider when assessing the economic effects of its incentives, including:

  • How companies will respond to incentives
  • Responsiveness and speed of the incentives’ benefits
  • Job expansion and displacement
  • Employment multiplier effects
  • Economic trade-offs
  • Benefit to state residents
