HIAs seek to inform a wide range of public policy decisions, from legislation to planning and regulatory actions. This session was a moderated, interactive conversation with three public officials that have been involved in HIAs—a city council member, a federal agency staff member, and a state legislator. The speakers discussed their experiences with HIAs, and offer perspectives on the value of the information presented, and how HIA practitioners can work most effectively with decision‐makers
