Margaret Arnesen Senior Officer

Margaret Arnesen supports Pew’s work on public health data sharing, with a focus on state-level policy solutions. Before joining Pew, Arnesen worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Health, where she developed and managed public health programs for the prevention of chronic disease, with a particular focus on increasing health equity and access to care for populations that face significant health disparities.

Stacey Crawford Senior Manager

Stacey Crawford supports Pew’s work on public health data sharing, managing research and policy analysis for both state and federal efforts. Before joining Pew, Crawford worked with the Travis County Healthcare District in Austin, Texas, where she supported its network of federally qualified health care centers that provide primary care for more than 100,000 patients annually. Crawford holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s in public affairs from the University of Texas at Austin.

Logan Dennis Senior Associate

Logan Dennis supports Pew’s public health data improvement project, with a focus on state-level policy solutions. Before joining Pew, Dennis worked with Idaho Voices for Children, where he worked to support public health programs for children and families, taught advocates how to engage in the public policymaking process at the Idaho Legislature, and helped expand Medicaid for more than 120,000 Idahoans. Dennis holds a bachelor’s degree in international political economy from the College of Idaho and a master’s in public health, with a concentration in child and adolescent health, from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Sheri Doyle Senior Officer

Sheri Doyle leads Pew’s federal strategy to develop a more robust public health data infrastructure and enhance the exchange of public health data. She was previously a senior manager with Pew’s substance use prevention and treatment initiative, overseeing research and policy analysis that informed state and federal efforts to equitably expand access to substance use disorder treatment.

Devon Genua Senior Associate

Devon Genua supports Pew’s work on public health data sharing, with a focus on state-level policy solutions. Before joining Pew, Genua worked for the Centre for Public Impact, where she collaborated with local governments around the world on organizational culture and innovation programs to improve service delivery for residents. She also previously worked as a research assistant at the Urban Institute, focusing on early childhood care and education policy. Genua holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ian Leavitt Principal Associate

Ian Leavitt supports Pew’s work on public health data sharing, conducting research and policy analysis on the efforts of state and federal agencies to improve the rapid and effective use of health information. Before joining Pew, Leavitt worked with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as a research supervisor, overseeing physical activity research projects in the health disparities research department. Leavitt holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Adelphi University, a master’s degree in exercise science from Northeastern University, and a master’s degree in population health sciences from Harvard University.

Miranda Robinson-Perez Manager

Miranda Robinson-Perez supports Pew’s work on the public health data improvement project, managing research and policy analysis for state and federal efforts. Before joining Pew, Robinson-Perez managed the community engagement arm of Howard University’s Research Centers in Minority Institutions program, which was tasked with connecting the school’s research practice and outcomes with the communities it studies. Robinson-Perez has a bachelor’s degree in media and women’s studies from Scripps College and a master’s in public health from George Washington University.
