PROFILE

Bobby Hayden coordinates policy, outreach, and coalition work for Pew’s efforts to ensure clean water, abundant wildlife, and healthy working lands for communities on the United States’ West Coast. 

Before joining Pew, Hayden worked in community organizing and communications for clean energy, environmental conservation, and workers’ rights campaigns throughout the Northwest, including seven years at the Save Our Wild Salmon coalition, mobilizing support to restore the Columbia-Snake River Basin, which is home to some of the world’s best habitat for wild salmon and steelhead.

Hayden holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Oregon. He is based in Portland, Oregon.
