HIAs and Other Resources to Advance Health-Informed Decisions

The toolkit was last updated in February 2023. As of June 30, 2023, the toolkit is hosted and maintained here, a Community Commons Space—a content library powered by the Community Commons Knowledge Base and hosted by the nonprofit organization the Institute for People, Place, and Possibility (IP3).

The Health Impact Project’s cross-sector toolkit for health contained resources that help communities, agencies, and other organizations take action to improve public health. The toolkit offered a collection of health impact assessments, guides, and other research to support policymakers’ efforts to consider health when making decisions across sectors, such as housing, planning, and education. Frequently asked questions and more information about the toolkit is also available on Pew’s website.
