Crook County Master Plan
Location
Crook County
Oregon
Organization
Oregon Department of Human Services, Public Health Division
The Crook County Public Health Department conducted an HIA of current pedestrian and bicycling infrastructure in Prineville, Oregon to inform an updated community plan. The HIA focused on improving overall safety and accessibility of sidewalks, walking paths, and bicycle use, and identifying areas where specific actions can be taken to address pedestrian safety. The HIA recommended increasing the overall number of pedestrian trails and increasing sidewalk connectivity on specific streets (Harwood Street, Elm Street, and other streets around Ochoco Creek Park).
