The Institute for Population Health (IPH) plans to conduct a health impact assessment (HIA) to inform the identification of neighborhoods in Detroit that will receive assistance from the Hardest Hit Fund, a federal program that provides funding to develop locally-tailored foreclosure prevention solutions in areas that have been affected by home price decline and high unemployment, and investment in opportunities to improve health.
Funded by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), through support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Health Design Initiative.
