BY CAR

From I-95 and Philadelphia International Airport:

Take I-95 to I-676 West (Central Philadelphia). Follow I-676 to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway exit. Turn right at the top of the ramp (stop sign) and go to the first traffic light, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Turn right onto the Parkway and travel east one block to 21st Street. Turn right onto 21st St. and travel three blocks. After passing under train tracks and a roadway, in quick succession, there will be a parking lot on your right and a gray marble building on your left. The building is One Commerce Square. Parking is available in an underground parking lot beneath Commerce Square on your left. For the underground lot, use the second entrance.

From Philadelphia International Airport:

Take I-95 North and follow the above directions.

From I-76:

Exit I-76 (the Schuylkill Expressway) at I-676 (Central Philadelphia). Follow I-676 to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway/23rd Street exit (the first exit after leaving I-76). Follow the exit and stay in the right lane. Go to the second traffic light (21st Street). Turn right onto 21st and go south for three blocks. After passing under train tracks and a roadway, in quick succession, there will be a parking lot on your right and a gray marble building on your left. The building is One Commerce Square. Parking is available in an underground parking lot beneath Commerce Square on your left. For the underground lot, use the second entrance.

From New Jersey via the Benjamin Franklin Bridge:

After crossing the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, follow the signs for I-676 (Central Philadelphia). Take I-676 to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway exit. Turn right onto the Parkway and travel east one block to 21st St. Turn right onto 21st street and travel three blocks. BY TRAIN

From Philadelphia International Airport:

There are signs in the terminal as you go towards the baggage claim directing you to the R1 (regional rail) - there are R1 stops at terminals A-E. Follow the signs to the train. The commuter trains depart every half hour. You will get off the train at 30th Street Station (see below).

30th Street Station:

30th and Market Streets. Both AMTRAK and SEPTA commuter rail service (including service to Philadelphia International Airport via SEPTA's R1) arrive and depart from this station. Exit the station by way of the 29th Street doors. Leaving the station, turn right and then proceed to Market Street. Walk up Market Street (east) towards City Hall. The building is between 21st and 20th streets. Alternately, taxi service is usually available on the 29th St. and 30th St. sides of the station.

Suburban Station:

16th and John F. Kennedy Boulevard. SEPTA commuter rail service (including service to Philadelphia International Airport via SEPTA's R1) arrives and departs from here. Follow signs for the 18th St. and JFK Blvd. exit, the closest to One Commerce Square. Walk west on JFK Blvd. for two and a half blocks. The entrance to Commerce Square is on the south side of JFK Blvd. between 20th and 21st Sts. For more information on SEPTA rail service, call 215.580.7800 or visit the SEPTA Web site.

PATCO:

Train service from southern New Jersey is available on PATCO. The closest station to One Commerce Square is at 16th and Locust Streets. From PATCO's subway exits walk north on 16th St. to Market St. Turn left on Market St. and walk west for four and a half blocks. Elevator access to Pew floors:

After checking in at the lobby-level security desk, the bank of elevators to floors 17 to 27 serves The Pew Charitable Trusts offices. Take the elevator to the 17th floor, where PCT's reception area is located.

BY CAR 

From the North, Philadelphia:

Take I-95 S toward Philadelphia International Airport. Follow until merging onto I-495 S via Exit 11 toward Port of Wilmington/Baltimore. I-495 S becomes I-95 S (portions toll). Take Exit 52 toward BWI Airport onto MD-295 S. Merge onto New York Avenue NE/US-50 W toward Washington. Once in Washington, New York Avenue turns into Mt Vernon Place, NW, for one block at Mt. Vernon Square. At the end of Mt. Vernon Place, stay to the right and continue on Massachusetts Avenue, NW. Make a slight right at Thomas Circle, NW, then a slight left onto M Street, NW. Turn right at 18th Street, NW. 1200 18th Street, NW is the first building on the left.

From the North, Maryland: 

Travel south on Connecticut Avenue. Turn right onto M Street, NW. Turn right at 18th Street, NW. 1200 18th Street, NW is the first building on the left.

From the South, Virginia: 

Travel north on U.S. Route 1 (accessible via Interstate 395 north) headed for downtown, Washington. As you enter the city, stay straight traveling onto 14th Street. Make a slight right at Thomas Circle, NW, then a slight left onto M Street, NW. Turn right at 18th Street, NW. 1200 18th Street, NW is the first building on the left.

BY TRAIN

From Union Station, board the Metro's Red Line to Farragut North station.

BY METRO

Take the metro to the Farragut North station located on the red line. Follow the signs on the platform for the L Street exit. Walk all the way to the end of the platform and go out the exit that is at the very end of the platform. When you come up the escalator to the street, you are at the intersection of Connecticut Ave and L Street. Cross Connecticut Ave and turn right. Walk one block to M Street, turn left and almost immediately you'll find yourself at the intersection of 18th St. and M Street. You will see the Daily Grill diagonally across the intersection.
